Hola, ocurre que yo tengo una SE440BX, con la misma tarjeta de sonido.

Lo que tienes que hacer es editar el arhivo /etc/conf.modules
y poner:

alias sound cs4232
options -k cs4232  dma=1 dma2=3 irq=5 io=0x220

Creo que con eso bastará.

Nota: yo tengo redhat 5.2, tal vez algo cambie con 6.0, no lo sé.
