[Ayuda] Como optimizar disco scsi en linux

Que tal,

¿Alguno de ustedes sabe como optimizar los disco scsi en linux?
¿Depente del tipo de controladra scsi que este instalado?
¿el comando hdparam tambien sirve para configurar los disco scsi?
¿por que el comando sysctl -w vm.buffermem no lo reconoce RedHat EL 4.0?
