[Ayuda] Como instalo esta app. en linux?

Que tal foro, soy nuevo en Linux, por esto es este tipo de pregunta que les hago:

Tengo una Toshiba 6100 y tiene linux, pero el monitor se ve muy brillante, encontre una utileria
para controlar esta funcion entre otras [http://www.schwieters.org/toshset/]

Ya la baje y la copie a mi directorio personal. segui los pasos que dice el manualin

./configure
make
make install

./configure me da esto

make me da esto:

y make install me da esto:

[root@jaguar toshset-1.60]# make install

cuando lo ejecuto tengo esto:

[root@jaguar toshset-1.60]# toshset
Violación de segmento
[root@jaguar toshset-1.60]#

alguna idea?
