[Sop.Tec.LinuxPPP] Ximian Gnome 1.4

Hola a todos:

¿Alguien sabe si se puede instalar el Ximian Gnome 1.4 en LinuxPPP 6.4? 
Existe la version para RedHat 6.0, 6.1 y 6.2, pero no funciona con esta 
versión.

El error que aparece cuando se trata de instalar en línea es:

"We are sorry, but the operating system `' is not
supported by the Ximian GNOME installer. We apologize for the
inconvenience. Please see http://www.ximian.com/desktop/
for support."

También existe una versión para bajar e instalar, y marca el siguiente error 
cuando se ejecuta:

"The Ximian installer was unable to determine your distribution.
This meas that either you are running a distribution that is
not supported by the installer or that certain system files
have benn altered or removed. You must install a supported
distribution before you can use the Ximian installer. A list of
supported distributions can be found at http://www.ximian.com.
If you need additional assistance, you can email
support en ximian com."
