Tengo uno que venía en formato rpm:
acroread-4.05-1

Deja lo bajo directamente del sitio y les comento como me fué...

Aqui pongo uno de los errores típicos que imprime en  las páginas, solo
suelen cambiar un poco los números pero lo demás es igual:
