[Sop.Tec.LinuxPPP] Consulta sobre Módem PCI con Chip Intel

 Saludos a toda la lista, cómo siempre solicitando su ayuda, ya que sé que 
aquí siempre son efectivos. Mi consulta es la siguiente, tengo una PC que 
tiene un módem PCI Intel HAM, creo que es un winmodem, el chiste es que ya 
bajé el software y lo instalé (tengo LinuxPPP 6.4), y parece que jala bien, 
cuando arranque la máquina y revisé, esto es lo que aparece en mi archivo  
/var/log/messages:

y esto en el boot.log:

y cuando quiero probar el módem con el minicom, me manda este mensaje:
minicom: WARNING: configuration file not found, using defaults
minicom: cannot open /dev/modem: No existe el fichero o el directorio

Mi pregunta es,, a que número de tty dirigo un enlace sibmólico llamado 
modem ??
