O.k. Edgar, my spanish is not good enough to expres my thoughts so I'll try
it in english... In Europe linux minded people sometimes relate to Mexico as
'the good example' meaning the fact the Mexican Government decided Linux
should be the official system software for educational purposes. My
questions are:
-  is this true? Has there been such a choice by the secretary of education?
- If so, does it give good results? Are there online reports on the subject?

I work in art education for a long time in Holland and I use Linux in my
private situation. At present I just collect information about software
policies leading to the use of open source software instead of the microsoft
stuff. At my workplace http://www.koorenhuis.nl we are switching from M$
into Linux in what concerns computer aided design but to get Linux to a
larger scale - the schools we work with - I need to be wel documented. Mr.
Gates has a very good relationship with our education secretary of state...
