[Linux] Instalacion PHP

Hola

En mi equipo con había una version RPM de Apache y la quite e instale la 
version httpd-2.0.13.tar.gz

Se instalo bien, pero cuando quiero instalar PHP-4.3.2.tar,gz, el siguinete 
comando manda el error

#./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql-4.0.13 
-with-apxs=/usr/local/apache-2.0.35/bin/apxs

Configuring SAPI modules

checking for Apache 1.x module support via DSO through APXS... configure: 
error: You have enabled Apache 1.3 support while your server is Apache 2.  
Please use the appropiate switch --with-apxs2

Como quito ese residuo del Apache 1.x?
